When the 2026 FIFA World Cup came to Miami, the Miami Host Committee produced the longest-running Fan Festival of any host city. Behind the scenes, over 2,000 volunteers gave their time to be part of the World Cup experience. To manage that, Marc Kruger needed to schedule a team of Zone Leads to oversee the different areas volunteers would be working. His scheduling system of choice? Workfeed.

There was a legacy system available, but adapting it wasn't realistic: "In theory, we could have adapted the tools we already had to meet our needs. But that path meant meetings, approvals, conversations with IT, time we simply didn't have. So I started the way everyone else does: I googled scheduling systems, and Workfeed came up."
