Why Hamann's said goodbye to Excel and welcomed Workfeed.

Previously, Hamann's was using Excel to create the schedules, and experienced several issues. One of these problems was that the employees could not access the schedule properly. Only the owner, Emma, could see it from her laptop and was therefore forced to print out the schedule and hang it in the café.

Another problem was that if an employee could not work on a particular day, Emma had to draw on the shift schedule, or adjust the changes, and print a new one. It was an annoying process for her, and it took her a lot of time. At some point she was done with the irritation, and started looking for another easy solution, and that is when she was introduced to Workfeed.

Hamann's needed a system that would allow Emma to coordinate shifts much faster. The fact that Workfeed is available both on the computer and on the phone has helped Emma enormously, as the schedule can be accessed at all times and this makes work much easier:

“Before I made a list for ten employees which made it difficult to assemble the puzzle in the right pieces. Now it is the system that does it instead of me being responsible for doing everything.“

According to Emma, Workfeed has given her the perfect solution to all of her issues with planning shifts. Furthermore, Emma is saving an immense amount of time which is something she truly appreciates:

“The system is pretty cool and honestly I love it. It has given me more time to focus on the café”.
