For 30 years now Lisbeth and Torben have been growing strawberries just outside Copenhagen - at the Rokkedysse Farm. They're a special breed themselves. Both farmers and business people.
Since the beginning, Lisbeth and Torben have been aiming at growing the world’s best strawberries, and as they grow, their business grows with them. However, having the berries picked is a different kind of challenge.

As a farmer, you have to abide by the laws of nature, a therefore Rokkedysse's staff expands heavily in the summer! From April until September, they have to have a full crew of youngsters ready and set to help them sell the delicious berries. According to Lisbeth and Torben it can be quite a challenge to make everything align perfectly:
“I love working with the younger generation, but it can be challenging, too. Their plans are often up in the air, constantly shifting, and they have a hard time dealing with obligations”
Despite the tough challenge, Rokkedysse found a solution in Workfeed.

“I just post the shifts, and then it’s a matter of getting the shifts that fit your summer plans. When I publish new shifts, they get the notifications directly to their pocket, and it fits them perfectly, too”
They highlight the importance of following the trends of the time - especially working with the younger generation and being able to meet their needs for flexibility.

In june and July, things culminate big time. Torben and Lisbeth are swarmed with opportunities, so they have to stay focused. But since a lot is being taken care of, they're able to explore new ways of doing business.
